Thirsty Curses ~ Rock Recording Artists Special Guest On 3/31/2023

Thirsty Curses is a rock n’ roll band based out of Raleigh, NC. As YES! Weekly wrote, "Thirsty Curses make rock’n’roll, with a boisterous beer swilling edge to it. Many of these songs are about living it up while things fall apart at the seams, or at least trying to find some glory in chaos and meaninglessness."

Thirsty Curses was formed in 2017 by singer-songwriter Wilson Getchell and currently consists of Getchell (guitar, piano, lead vocals), Clayton Herring (bass guitar), Aaron Neal (drums), and Kelley Otwell (lead guitar). Thirsty Curses has gained a reputation as one of the more prolific and harder working indie bands around, having already released four studio albums (To The Ends of The Earth (2022); Thirsty Curses (2019); All Shook Up (2018); and Holy Moly (2017)), along with critically acclaimed self-produced music videos for the singles "Bruises On Your Shoulders", “Nothing Really Matters”, "Smash/Hit", "Racing Through the Daze", "Holy Moly", "Dimlit Cathedral", "Exile", and "Neon Sign"). The music video for "Bruises On Your Shoulders" won Best in Festival at the Broadcast Education Association's 2021 Festival of Media Arts and was screened at the 2021 Richmond International Film Festival in September 2021.

Thirsty Curses also maintains an active show/tour schedule performing regularly through North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, with occasional jaunts to cities such as Baltimore, MD; Annapolis, MD; Philadelphia, PA; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Savannah, GA; Memphis, TN; and Grand Rapids, MI. Thirsty Curses has also performed Soulshine Music Festival (NC), Richmond International Film Fest (VA); East by Northeast Film & Music Festival (NY); and is scheduled to play Wampus Cat Music Festival (NC) in August 2022.
