The Gospel ~ Cinematic Synth Recording Artists Special Guest On 5/5/2024

The Gospel are a UK based cinematic goth band. Infusing ornate arrangements with vintage grittiness that oozes from 1970s analogue synthesizers, their otherworldly music deftly traverses the void between Nick Cave and Goldfrapp.

Based in Manchester, UK, The Gospel recently launched themselves onto the scene with a string of live dates, attracting an ecstatic review from Louder Than War’s John Robb who praised: “The music is mind-blowing...it feels like The Gospel are going to be making a big noise soon”.

The single ‘Lord Can You Hear Me’ was released in October and has amassed nearly 6K views on YouTube:

They promoted this release with a debut US show in LA in October at the amazing Goth club ‘Bar Sinister’ where they secured a deal with Cleopatra Records. This show was followed up with a special performance at the Reptile Club in London in November where the promoter said they 'stole the show'!!

They supported Corpus Delicti at the amazing Manchester Cathedral at the end of February (fan video):

The new single, a cover of Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer’, will be out on May 6th on Cleopatra Records and their next shows are with Miranda Sex Garden at The Garage in London and Birmingham (Castle and Falcon) before ‘Tomorrow's Ghosts’ festival in Whitby.
