Pamela Ruby Russell ~ Folk Recording Artist Special Guest On 10/1/2021

Having performed and recorded extensively with her original bands,

Ms. Ruby works with respected vocal coach, Mark Baxter. Early on in her career Keith Jarrett, renowned pianist, personally invited Pamela to attend his On Spontaneity Seminar! Honing her songwriting and vocal skills nurtured her other big loves, photography and writing.

Pamela has captured the world around her while working behind as well as in front of the cameras of some of New England's finest photographers. Pamela's first mentor was NYC photographer Myron "Mike" Ehrenberg. The seeds of an artist grew well under his guidance, as she sought truth and compassion in her art. Richard Avedon, Annie Liebovitz and many other artists of note have photographed Pamela over the years.

President of the Board of her local cable access TV station and former Vice Chair of her town's Democratic Committee, several decades ago Pamela organized her college's first demonstration against the Vietnam war while simultaneously hanging her premier photo exhibit, "As The River Flows So Flows the Man." An exposé of paper mills and other Hudson River polluters, Pamela photographed the river's entire coastline, from Westchester, NY up to Albany, along the NJ Palisades to the tip of Manhattan and back around to her college. To make that year even more interesting, she starred in a challenging drama, the ensemble play "Chamber Music" by Arthur Kopit, as well as Giraudoux's "The Madwoman of Chaillot."

Pamela Ruby Russell is thrilled to present her newly released, upbeat song LOVE'S CALLING, a well-recorded and timely reminder that love and longing, friendship and trust, the obliteration of fear, are ultimately what keeps us all connected.
