Scott began as a bass player who occasionally stepped up to sing lead vocals, giving the band’s frontman a break. From his home studio in Frederick, Maryland, he began creating original music and developing a sound of his own. After learning drums on a kit left behind from years of band rehearsals, Scott taught himself guitar and set out to accomplish a bucket-list goal: writing, producing, recording, and mixing an entire collection of songs about life.

That goal became the 2022 debut album, Back in the Day, for which Scott wrote the songs and performed nearly every instrument.
